Free upgrade to a fantastic room - the biggest in the hotel. Four poster bed, massive bathroom. Everything was clean, tidy but above all the staff were friendly. After staying in a London hotel the night before for the same price this was like going from unemployed to prime minister overnight.
Nothing - it was beautiful.

The food was fantastic.
The area smells of pig excretion, the stench is so strong that it really gets under your noise. It kept me awake at night and it was a constant irritation.

As bike riders, we loved the large field available for walks with our dog. the staff were friendly and provided quick and attentive service. the rooms were comfortable and clean, with cozy beds. the television had a great signal and the internet always worked. the breakfast choices were generous and brought to our room by smartly dressed staff. We also appreciated the option of an early breakfast time on the weekends.

Convenient location and comfortable
There was a flyer in the room advising of breakfast room service till 10am. I assumed breakfast was served till 10.00am, arrived at 9.45am and found it was closed. Me and partner went hungry and £20 down. Not happy at all. Receptionist seemed uninterested. Had evening meal that had no prices on the menu - was nice food but felt embarrassed to ask during meal - don't like this at all.

friendly staff. clean.
Rooms are not sound proof. If you have noisy neighbor or if there's a wedding party (our case) then you may be disturbed. Food quality at restaurant was below average (for the price paid)

Spacious executive room with amazing shower. Food quality was fantastic, especially the lamb dish. Rates include average breakfast.

The only thing I would suggest is if you have a functionon in the Mulberry suite then you shoud try to reserve room 224 for guests attending that function. There was a a wedding reception taking place when we stayed and the music and DJ were extremeley loud.

Myself and my partner went on a romantic night away and found the service considerable. The room are clean alot of furniture for the size of room we had. I would highly recommend for any couples. Also we had a look around the venue for a wedding and those who are thinking about getting married I would go and take a look at Hatherley Manor because its set in the countryside with a lot of scope for some beautiful photos.
Just the morning service we had. One minute we had two members of staff asked what we wanted as soon as we sat down, then when we said give us five mintutes, 20 minutes later someone came to take our order.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful country manor for my girlfriend's birthday. The room, especially the Bridal Suite, was spacious and luxurious. The bathroom with its jetted bath and rainfall shower was a highlight. The staff, especially Vicky and Lauren, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The spa was top-notch and the views from the window were stunning. The restaurant served excellent food with lovely presentation. I highly recommend this hotel.

Out of town location, chance to get away from it all. Relaxed in our room, feet up. Quiet.
We stayed during 2011 Cheltenham Festival. Some guests thought it was too far from the racecourse, but my wife and I found it to be a perfect location. If your idea of the Cheltenham Festival is to stagger around town and fall into your hotel lobby, you'd want something more central. Taxi about £20 e/w.
